Gardens and grounds

Outside really is the jewel in the crown and as the name would suggest, offers an exquisite country garden. South and west facing, with far reaching views over to Haytor and flanked on all sides by either mature beech hedges or trees, the grounds at Country Gardens are private and peaceful. Expertly cultivated, numerous areas have been thoughtfully created with perhaps the most interesting, being the well- established organic vegetable, fruit and flower gardens. The flower garden is packed with an abundance of colourful florals which create a haven for wildlife while the vegetable garden produces amazing produce including onions, courgettes and the like. There are a wide range of fruit trees including cherries, apples and plums as well as fruit cages for the soft fruits. To the front, is a raised pond which again, is a haven for wildlife.
Beyond the formal garden are two large, lawned areas / paddocks bordered by mature beech hedges which could be landscaped or used for further outbuildings or an additional dwelling, subject to the necessary consents.
Country Gardens is approached over a long driveway flanked by one of the paddock areas and leads to a large gravelled parking which provides ample parking as well as a generous workshop and two further stores. As you would expect from such a well maintained garden, there is also a shed and a wonderful Victorian style greenhouse.
