Lextons are delighted to offer to market a beautifully presented three double bedroom family home, with a South facing garden, situated in a tranquil road in the highly sought-after Poets corner district of Hove.

The approach to this Victorian property is warm and inviting. The entrance to this home is light, bright and airy. Presented to a lovely standard the current owners have invested a great deal of thought into creating a quality home to include double glazed windows, bespoke wardrobes and engineered wood flooring

The dual aspect double reception room with views to the garden benefits from engineered wood flooring, character fireplace and plenty of period detailing. It boasts lovely proportions and is a super room to relax, unwind and entertain in.

The Shaker style kitchen is a nice size with neutral wall mounted and base units. It affords plenty of space to cook and offers scope to extend to the side ( stnc) should one desire. From here doors open out to a sunny south-facing landscaped patio garden which offers a good deal of privacy. The first floor has two great sized double bedrooms and a luxury family bathroom with a separate shower. The top floor is a true oasis of calm and tranquility and a perfect escape from the rest of the house. It has been extended to create a lovely and incredibly spacious main bedroom with a handy ensuite.

Shakespeare Street is moments from popular local shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, as well as being close to Stoneham Park. Both Aldrington and Hove railway stations are within walking distance, making it popular for commuters and families alike. The seafront is also very close by.

Situated close to the station, seafront and bustling cafe culture of Hove this home really does tick all the boxes. A veritable gem and not one to be missed!

What the owner says......

I have loved living here. The location is fantastic with lots of local shops and cafes and a great selection of restaurants and pubs right on the doorstep. It’s also easy to get in to town with easy access to the station and close by bus stop.

The beach is 10-minute walk away, as is Hove Park where I have spent lots of time walking my dog.

Shakespeare Street benefits from being one of the quieter roads in Poets Corner, without any real traffic. There is a real sense of community on the street and I have great neighbours who I will very much miss.

In summer the garden is the perfect sun trap and acts like an extra room in the house with the French doors open. It’s the perfect place to relax and entertain.

This is a lovely home and I have loved living here right in the heart of Hove.
