We totally fell in love with this house, especially the downstairs living space as soon as we walked into 89 Grenfell Road. The unique, quiet and tastefully done ‘oasis’ was just what we wanted for a family living space, with the view onto the garden, the light filled conservatory, the kitchen being central to our family life and social gatherings. We have added a second bathroom to the spare room, making it an en suite and perfect for visitors on their own separate floor. We’ve taken away the spiral stair case to the kitchen, put new stairs in for little feet and re-carpeted, painted throughout and redone the flooring in the nursery. We use the spare reception room as a study/storage/play room, but it can be anything from a library, to bedroom to cigar room 😉. The house has great storage and there is always the loft and garden sheds too!
89 Grenfell is so conveniently situated to town and the train station. We’ve loved being a young family here, especially having a small toddler it’s so easy to get out and about and there’s so many activities and parks on our doorstep, with London a quick train ride away.
We will be sad to be leaving this house with such great memories, but know the new owners will love it like we have!
