House For Sale £130,000
The Bay, East Looe PL13

Description
Situated in the quaint narrow streets of Looe, just yards from the seafront and popular local amenities is The Galleon, a most unusual and unique Grade II listed two bedroom ground floor property. Well over 100 years old, the building is believed to have been divided in the 1970's with the ground floor being converted by a ships carpenter hence the name and nautical theme that runs throughout the accommodation. On entering the property one is immediately taken by the likeness to a ships cabin, which was the idea of a previous owner and makes very good use of the space. There is a lounge/dining area, two bedrooms; one with built in bunks and the other with a double bed, a small kitchenette and a lobby leading to a wet room. There is no doubt that some updating is now required and the new owners can choose whether to update the current theme or completely renovate the space, being mindful of the Grade II listing. The property would Ideally suite those looking for a second or holiday home and we strongly advise viewings to fully appreciate the uniqueness and the convenient location on offer.

Heating and hot water
There is no heating installed. The property is currently heated by freestanding electric heaters. The hot water to the kitchen and bathroom sink is from a 'Heatstore Multiflow' Electric Instant Point of Use system which can be found beneath the kitchen sink. The shower is electric.

Windows
Single glazed windows in the original style.
