Manor Road is a small lane off the High Street in Horam. There is no through traffic and being old railway cottages is very close to the Cuckoo Trail, very useful walking and cycling route to Eastbourne. Heathfield itself, is only a five minute drive and has a wider range of amenities, regular market days and three larger supermarkets. Buses run to Heathfield, Eastbourne and Uckfield and there are main line stations within a 15 minute drive at Buxted, Uckfield, Polegate and Crowborough (about 20 minutes).
