It sounds like a cliché, but we really did fall in love with this maisonette the moment we walked through the door. It's bright and airy and has lots of character, with its kitchen arch, high ceilings and Edwardian features, and the layout works really well. We've loved spending time in the sunny south-facing garden, which is perfect for dinners with friends and has been a blessing over the pandemic, and we couldn't have asked for friendlier neighbours.
We've also really appreciated being within walking distance of so many wonderful green spaces, including Clissold and Springfield parks, and all the shops, pubs and restaurants in Stoke Newington, South Tottenham and Green Lanes—plus we're just round the corner from the beautiful Woodberry Wetlands, with its café's delicious toasties and coffee. The transport links are fantastic, with the Victoria, Piccadilly and Overground lines all within a 10-15 minute walk, making the commute into central London quick and easy.
We can only hope whoever buys our maisonette will be as happy here as we've been!
