Situation

Windy Ridge is delightfully set in gardens & grounds totalling 0.93 of an acre within the heart of the New Forest National Park, in the popular hamlet of Frogham which is a small village in the civil parish of Hyde. Frogham has a small congregational church & a pub known as The Foresters Arms & Hyde Memorial Hall. Frogham also has an ancient road side well, called ‘Abbots Well’. Earliest records mention Frogham dates from the beginning of the 14th century. Hyde has a highly regarded primary school, garden shop & café. The surrounding open New Forest National Park has 92,000 acres & offers the opportunity for those keen on walking, riding & cycling to have these facilities on their doorstep, in addition to ponies & donkeys passing the front gate.

The nearest town of Fordingbridge is 1.8 miles north-west of the village & offers good educational, retail & community facilities for all age groups. Other local recreational pursuits include sailing, fishing, water skiing & golf.

Windy Ridge is uniquely positioned for those seeking a completely rural lifestyle, with the more major centres of Salisbury, Bournemouth & Southampton are all easily accessible.
