The property was built on a cherry orchard, hence the name "Cherry Tree House". It was built in 1975 by its first owner, then sold to the family who lived there for 10 years before we bought it in 1997.

We have made quite a few changes over the years to make the most of the space available. We converted the integral double garage into a large open plan kitchen/dining space, added a new double garage to the other side of the property, landscaped the front and back of the property, added a covered walkway to the side of the property allowing easy access from the front to back garden and installed 16 solar panels on top of the new double garage.

We love the kitchen and extended living space on the lower level because it is a great area for entertaining and socialising with our extended family. The back door opens up directly to pool and extensive garden. It's a flexible space and we've adapted it to accommodate my craft projects as well.

It has been our home for 26 years and we've made a lifetime of memories, including our children learning to swim in the pool, our niece and nephew spending long summer days playing badminton in the garden and hosting our daughter's wedding functions in the garden. It's been the perfect home to raise our family and the opportunities to entertain have been endless.

We have decided to move now to be closer to our children, so we can help each other when needed.
