When we first viewed this property back in 1988, we fell in love with it and knew it would be our forever family home. We were amazed by the size of the rooms with their high ceilings and original features - the upstairs landing felt like an extra room!
Our children remember fondly the times spent sleeping in a tent in the back garden, and choosing their favourite climbing trees around nearby Highams Park lake.
It's been the perfect hosting house; we have so many happy memories of family gatherings and celebrations here.
We've never taken for granted the fantastic location of this house; surrounded by forests, parks and the lake, and yet so well connected by buses and trains to central London. Being a short stroll down the road from lovely cafes, restaurants, bars and shops has allowed us a wonderful quality of life over the years.
