Description
This lovely two-bedroom mid-terrace property offers original features and stylish flourishes in equal measure.

If you lived here...

Thanks to the thoughtful restoration by the previous owners, you can enjoy your new home from the get go. The decor is spotless and the original features such as the fireplace alcove and natural wood floors sit beautifully alongside extra touches such as timber panelling and bespoke shelving.

This feeling of period charm runs throughout the home, as does the serene colour palette. In the bathroom you’ll love the combination of the metro tiles and statement wallpaper, as well as the mosaic floor tiles, vintage-style fittings and free-standing bath.

Beyond your beautifully glazed front door, you’re in a great spot for exploring this exciting part of E17. As well as being a hub for coffee shops, bars and eateries, there’s an abundance of green space; Walthamstow Wetland, Marshes, Lloyd Park and Higham Hill Park are a 10-15 minute stroll away.

A similar distance away, you’ll also find the much-lauded veg-friendly SlowBurn, which was recently named one of the Guardian’s essential restaurants to ‘try right now’, so you’ll want to book.

Other places to add to your list include the community-centred bouldering studio Yonder, the warehouse-style microbrewery Truman’s Social Club, the atmospheric coffee shop-cum-repair centre Armstrong Audio, and the creative studio Blackhorse Workshop, which runs a variety of brilliant classes. You’re also a short hop from the Blackhorse Beer Mile, where you’ll find some of East London’s best craft beer breweries, bars and street food.

A word from the owners...

"Renness Road is a great location with excellent transport links - there is very little traffic on the road so the house is very quiet, even with the windows open. The neighbours are lovely and we've enjoyed attending the street parties that have been organised from time to time. We've renovated the house over the past nine years and this has been a real labour of love, but there is still scope for a buyer to put their own stamp on the house. Everything has been updated, from the electrics and appliances to the boiler, and we've had everything serviced regularly too.
The biggest transformation to the house is our amazing bespoke oak kitchen, which is such a great space to cook, hang out in, and host dinner parties and barbecues. The clever garden design means that the house is not overlooked and it feels like such a haven. We'll really miss it here and hope that the new owners love it as much as we have."
