We bought this house about six years ago and it was in a pretty parlous state so we spent three years completely renovating it including replumbing, new electrics, plastering and heating systems. We installed new doors, flooring and windows but everything was always in keeping with the age of the property. We have thoroughly enjoyed living here for the past three years after the renovation was complete but we feel it is time to start a new chapter in our lives and hope another family will be able to enjoy and appreciate everything we have done to make this a very special home. We like living so close to the sea and Herne Bay is a charming Victorian seaside resort with its origins in the Georgian era. It includes an eclectic mix of independent shops, restaurants, two supermarkets and a weekly street market.
