Illogan is a rural village and civil parish close to Redruth and Camborne. Illogan village stretches from Paynters Lane End in the south to the boundary with Bridge in the north. The oldest section of Illogan is Churchtown, the church is dedicated to Saint Illogan. Tehidy is the largest area of woodland in West Cornwall and it is managed as a Country Park.
