The National Trust’s Ringstead Bay has an unspoilt beach, surrounded by farmland and cliffs, the Bay is popular with windsurfers and kitesurfers. The area is well known for its sporting and leisure pursuits which include golf at Dorchester Came Down, Yeovil, Folke and Sherborne golf clubs.

Sailing and water sports along the Dorset coast, Marinas at Weymouth and Poole (Weymouth is home to the National Sailing Academy). There is riding and walking in the surrounding countryside.
