Salop Road, London E17

Description
A beautifully appointed four bedroom family terrace, brimming with vintage features and timeless style. Artfully arranged over three storeys, you have twin bathrooms, a wealth of sociable space and zero-maintainence rear garden.

It's all located just a short stroll form Walthamstow High Street and our famous street market, as well as the transport connections of St James Street station and the adjacent social hub of crate St James.

If you lived here…

You'll be luxuriating amongst expertly finished Design & Decor in a generous suite of beautifully presented rooms. Your front lounge brims with club style - stately blue walls, ornate original cornicing and blonde parquet flooring underfoot. A tiled vintage hearth sits in the chimney breast while a pair of internal doors subtly segment the second space, 130 square feet all finished in pale slate grey.

To the rear your substantial and skylit, 250 square foot kitchen/diner mixes the classic and contemporary to perfection. There's more blonde parquet underfoot, glossy timber worktops and a breakfast bar with Dublin sink. The stately cabinets come in pale slate grey with ceramic handles, and classic metro tiles combine with brass overhead light fittings to offer more vintage trim.

Throw back the bi-folding doors to bring the outside in - your rear garden's a spotless stretch of TruLawn surrounded by timber fencing, raised beds and bespoke seating. Upstairs, your first two bedrooms are both sumptuous doubles while your family bathroom raises the bar yet again with twin pedestal sinks and freestanding clawfoot tub. Finally into the loft for two more double bedrooms, the 200 square foot, skylit front master complete with gleaming en suite.

Outside and, as noted, you just a short stroll from our beloved borough's High Street, home to Europe's longest street market. Great for fresh produce and now enlivened by the curated Sunday Social stalls, if you can't buy it here you probably don't need it. Continue up the High Street and you have a a wealth of stores, supermarkets and cafes, The Chequers (one of our favourite gastropubs) and finally the Empire Cinema and Walthamstow Central station.

What else?

- Parents will be pleased to know that you have an even dozen primary schools, all rated 'Good' or 'Outstanding' by Ofsted all less than a mile away on foot. You also have two secondaries of a similar standard.
- St James Street station is just ten minutes on foot and will get directly to Liverpool Street in less than twenty, putting the City under half an hour away door to door. Heading to the West End? Walthamstow Central, for Oxford Circus via the Victoria line, is just one stop or a short stroll away.
- You're fortunate enough to have one of Walthamstow's best kept secrets just round the corner. Supperclub.tube sits below the Pumphouse Museum and serves up delicious Latin American cuisine in a decommissioned tube carriage. Just five minutes away.

A word from the owner...

"We have loved living in our beautiful home. This street is the most peaceful and welcoming we have experienced and our life has been able to centre around our home as well all that London has to offer. We have made more friends here than any other place we’ve lived.

During the week, we work between our home, the City, and central London, all of which are comfortable commutes and working environments. On the days we work from home, we take our dog to stretch our legs around St James’ Park.
At the weekends, we cycle or walk through the marshes, along the canals and into Hackney or the Olympic stadium for brunch or drinks with friends, or up to the Village for lunch.

Our home has a beautiful area for entertaining in the living spaces, and is spread out with lots of large rooms to spend time quietly.
We have had visitors stay with us many times and the layout gives everyone their own space.

We will miss it greatly."
