Long summer evenings slip away on the many lawns. The private rear balcony offers a perfect escape, particularly when watching the sunrise with a hot cup of coffee.

We have been truly spoiled locally. A quick walk (ideally through the beautiful Stambourne Woods) gets you to the iconic Crystal Palace Triangle and its cafes, pubs, bars, restaurants and vintage boutiques. There’s the stunning Crystal Palace Park. Lastly, on our doorstep, there’s South Norwood Lakes, a park that’s easily the area’s best-kept secret. It’s a nature lover’s heaven, particularly so regarding birds, all just outside our windows. Dreamy Sunday afternoon strolls pass gently by and watching the sailing boats on the lake is one of life’s real treats. Honestly, it’s so easy to spend weekends without even considering leaving the area.

When the hustle and bustle of Central London does call, Crystal Palace station (London Bridge, Victoria and Overground via Shoreditch) is an easy walk or less than five mins on the 410 bus, which runs so frequently. The alternative option is Norwood Junction (London Bridge in 12 mins!), a longer but picturesque stroll by the lake or a quick hop on a bus too.

We’ve repaid the love the home showed us by decorating throughout and recently modernised the heating with an efficient Scandinavian system. Although it’s only needed in the coldest spells as the sun does most of the work! All work has been made so much easier using the additional storage the leasable sheds and garages on the estate provide – they’ve been a real godsend.

We’re so, so fond of our first family home and have made real, core memories here. We’re super excited that you have the opportunity to make your own here too".
