Bell Tree House is a unique historic home to cherish in the heart of Tenby.

Tenby is a very pretty seaside town with four sandy beaches and lots of character. It was established by the Normans as a fortified town and still has most of its 13th century medieval town walls. It is part of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Wales' only coastal national park.

A few words from the current owners;

As a small child my family used to sail into Tenby and stay for holidays and I always saw it as a very magical place, so to own a house here was a dream come true. We have a large family so finding such a big house with a garden and parking within walking distance of the beach was incredible. The income potential of having accommodation in a self-contained apartment which can be separate but also connected to the main house is a huge bonus, ’ say the owners. It has a good-sized south facing walled garden – a separate area comprises a mobile home with its own garden.

‘As part of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and a popular tourist destination Tenby has many attractions both in the town itself and close by. There are lots of restaurants, pubs, shops and cafes, and boats running every day from Tenby harbour to Caldey Island. The town also has its own train and bus stations and an 18-hole golf course.’

‘Bell Tree House is believed to be the second oldest house in Tenby – we love the modernity and all the luxuries which come with it while still being able to enjoy the character of a 400-year-old building.’

‘The house is a wonderful space for a growing or extended family and our children love it dearly – it’s amazing for hide and seek! We all like the fact it has big open spaces where we can hang out together or hide away in one of its secret spots. It’s fantastic for entertaining and even with a party of 70 it doesn’t feel crowded.’

‘The south facing garden is enclosed and private with an adventure play area for children and a large patio and decking where groups can enjoy eating and drinking outside.’

‘It’s a house full of joyful memories and we shall miss it very much.’
