House For Sale £700,000
Ramsay Road, London E7

Description
Positioned just moments away from the vast green space of Wanstead Flats, this three double bedroom period home has been impeccably executed by the current owners.

The decor is characterised by its thoughtful palette, from the rich parquet flooring to the marble top counters and surprise pops of green, while the smart design optimises space and ensures light flows throughout all corners.

You’ve got the thriving Winchelsea Road with all its lovely amenities a few blocks away, and the spanking new Elizabeth line runs through your nearest station, Forest Gate, which will transport you to the West End in less than 20 minutes.

If you live here…

Victorian heritage sits in harmony alongside sleek innovation across three floors of immaculately planned living space.

The front reception room will be your hideaway, with its bay windows and stunning feature fireplace, while the open plan lounge diner is a hub for socialising, whether you’re grabbing a bite at the breakfast bar or hosting for a group. Thanks to the generous skylight, regardless of where you are in the space, you can’t miss the thoughtful but casual touches, such as the butler sink, cast iron radiator or pendant light fittings. The bi-fold patio doors open onto a south-facing garden, where herringbone brick paving boarders zen pebbles.

On the first floor you’ll find two impeccably decorated double bedrooms, with more of those classic features such as timber floors and column radiators. The front bedroom has excellent custom-built wardrobes, which you’ll also find on the landing (always handy), and the bathroom is a emerald tiled dream.

You’ll love the light and airy loft and ensuite, too, where you can look out and simply appreciate the brilliance of the local area.

What else?

- For your new local we to recommend The Wanstead Tap, a bar, beer shop and performance space. Handily, it’s a six minute walk.
-Dod-walkers, fitness fans and general lovers of greenery will be delighted by the fact that Wanstead Flats and all its glory is at the end of your very own street.
- Parents will be pleased to know you have a wide choice 'Good' and 'Outstanding' primary and secondary school less than a mile away on foot.

A word from the owners...

"During the last couple of years it has been a joy working from home here and we've appreciated having bright space to work in the house and the sun-trap of a south-facing garden. More recently Forest Gate has sprung back to life after the pandemic, with our ritual of long walks over the Wanstead Flats, the ornamental ponds of Wanstead Park and through Epping Forest punctuated now by stops at the Sunday Farmer's market and a roast (with a ride on the miniature railway!) at the Holly Tree pub on our return. The area has catered to our evolving lifestyle; with later-than-advised partying in nearby Hackney Wick to more wholesome afternoons at Patch Cafe! Back to the office now, the Lizzy Line means we're just half an hour from the City."
