Marlow and Maidenhead are both nearby, the former offering independent boutiques and high end dining options aplenty and the latter providing access to Crossrail’s Elizabeth Line. Cookham village is also close by and full of character, with quality dining options. All are within 10-15 minutes drive.
There are regular services from Maidenhead to London with fast trains to Paddington taking 17 minutes and at least 5 trains per hour. Access to the the M4 at junction 8/9 is under 10 minutes away and the M40 is also close, accessed off the A404.
Schooling in the area is excellent, with Sir William Borlase’s Grammar School in Marlow, Newlands Girls’ School in Maidenhead and Holyport College to name but a few; there are strong junior schools too.
