Most of our visitors love this house. We bought it 25 years ago from the first people who ever lived in it, first renting it in 23, then buying it in 1929. We did the minimum to it, keeping all the original fireplaces and many features.
I specially love sitting in the conservatory in full sun in the morning. The garden attracts birds and wild life, I feel embedded in the countryside. My husband enjoyed growing vegetables in the bottom of the large garden, by the original pebble wall of the old orchard which was this plot before the house was built. His work as an artist blossomed in his spacious studio purposely created to allow the northern light sought after by painters.
I value cycling on the seafront path directly to the wonderful well equipped sport centre and swimming pool, before reaching the centre of the town in 10 minutes. The house situation is ideal, a stone throw from the beach and a short seafront walk from the pier and the centre of town. The area is very quiet and there is plenty of parking space for visitors. An excellent location for working from home. For us it has also been the perfect grandparents house.
