We loved the character; there’s a story that when they built these houses at the turn of the century there was an architects competition and the winning four designs are the houses that run from the roundabout up to ours. Obviously we think our design with the cool little round feature windows is the best!

The house is also much better proportioned that a lot of four beds we looked at, as it wasn’t relying on a loft conversion for the fourth bedroom. As our neighbours have got a master bedroom and ensuite in the loft and an ensuite in the room we use as the office so the potential is definitely there if that suits you. It has been perfect for our family as it is.

We love the sitting room with its log burner, it was one of the first improvements we did and it is an absolutely gorgeous space to spend cosy family nights in.

We had an amazing garden party here in the June before covid for my birthday. The south facing aspect is light and bright all year round but such a joy in the summer and if the weather isn’t so kind there’s plenty of room for everyone inside too.

We’ve also had some brilliant family Christmases, we have an extending table and have often managed to get twelve of us sitting comfortably in the dining room and the kitchen is such a joy to cook in since we redesigned it. It’s a truly great house for entertaining all year round.

I’ve lived in Earlsdon for about 20 years and this is my fourth house, but is far and away my favourite to look at and to live in, also the only one with parking!

We'll definitely miss the proximity to all that Earlsdon offers. You can park up at the weekend and there are so many great bars, cafes and restaurants on your doorstep; there’s a fantastic butchers, greengrocer, florist, pharmacy and the coop is great too. It’s also close to Memorial Park and that beautiful green space. Schools are brilliant
