Nestled in a good size plot, mainly laid to lawn with a small fruit orchard to the rear, the property is also complimented with a versatile workshop/store to the garden level. Owner insight "Burcot has been a much-loved home for my family for approximately 60 years and it is with a very heavy heart that the decision has been made to sell it. Having relocated to Torquay with the nhs to work at Torbay Hospital, my wife and I were seeking a property that could become our 'forever home'. Whilst struggling to find a suitable property to purchase we happened to stumble across Veille Lane where there was a wonderful building plot available…..and as the saying goes 'the rest is history'. As soon as we saw the beautiful open views enjoyed across to Dartmoor we knew that we had found the location for our new home, little did we expect that we would be spending the rest of our lives living there, raising our children and even our grandchildren at the bungalow!

The location of Burcot has been excellent for us. The bungalow is quietly tucked away and yet within an easy walk of the local shops in Shiphay, ideal for our every day needs. A short distance away is the local primary school, with the Grammar schools found a little way beyond. The highly regarded local pub & restaurant, The Devon Dumpling can also found within walking distance. All of these have been extremely convenient and appreciated by us during our time living here."
