Plaidy is a small suburb in eastern Looe, with an abundance of local amenities, including local and national traders, a local primary and secondary school and a local pub. Plaidy Beach is located two minuets away from the property, with Millendreath Beach a short commute away.

Looe is a popular seaside town which also has an abundance of local amenities. Looe has a Train Station which has services into Plymouth and then Paddington Station as well as services further into Cornwall. Looe has East Looe Beach plus an abundance of coastal walks and a small harbour.
