Please note: The hot water and heating are powered by solid fuel being added to the fire in the sitting room. You would light the fire in the sitting room, and that fires a back boiler that heats the radiators and water. During warmer months, when you might not want to light a fire, there is an immersion heater to just heat the water for general cleaning and washing machine, plus an electric shower. Solid fuel heating for once is an advantage what with heating oil, electricity and gas being so expensive at the moment. There is a coal bunker and log store to the rear garden to store your fuel.
