Owners useful comments We love this area for its amazing community village feel, we know most of our neighbours and have some great events throughout the year, the annual street party and Halloween trick or treat and easter egg hunts for the children. We're close to the Brixton Windmill which is a great new community space with local events happening.
It's a great location to use the parks in the area we are spoilt for choice. For a night out we love Brixton village there's always something new on the food scene to try we love Three Uncles. Love that we can be in Oxford Circus too in 25 minutes. The bus network is amazing having 3 buses going into Clapham to connect to the northern line and direct bust to Battersea Park. It's also a 5 minute walk through to Brixton Hill with buses down to Brixton and beyond.
There's a really great coffee shop F Monday that's on Brixton hill (10 minute walk) that gets regularly frequently which is close to the infamous White Horse pub and other amenities such as post office, chemist and deli.
Abbeville village is also close by we like the Abbeville pub for cosy winter nights, you have great amenities here too, Ginger Pig butcher, Gail's coffee shop, awesome wine shop, a delicious independent deli, fishmonger along with neighbourhood restaurants. Great for working from home to get a break for lunch.
Our house is very quiet as it's away from the main road. Love the Cellar for the storage it gives us and for space for washing and drying. Even though it's a Victoria Terrace we don't feel overlooked as there are trees in neighbour's gardens giving us enough privacy. The garden is very sunny in the summer months. Great office space at the top of the house where you can get away from it all and on with work.
