Kelshall is a picturesque and popular village adjacent to Therfield, which has a Primary school, church and a well known pub, the Fox and Duck.

Therfield Heath is a nature reserve on the northern side of the village. There are some fabulous countryside views and walks along a network of local footpaths and bridlepaths.

The village is some 4 miles south west of Royston mainline railway station with a service running to Kings Cross. There is also a high speed service from Stevenage (approximately 13 miles).
