House For Sale £899,995
Harmers Way, Egerton TN27

Description
Twenty-four years is a wonderfully long time to enjoy a home for and it speaks volumes as a simple statement.
When you listen to the joy in the owners’ voices as they answer questions about life here, about the changes they have made to the house and how it has become an even better home because of them, of how seeing family grow up here, of parties and events that have created incredible memories, that's when it sinks in how special this place is.
We get excited as we begin to talk about the things that we love here, a wonderful kitchen with the bi fold doors that draw you out to the garden. The breakfast room that seems so easy to relax into for a quiet coffee and a chat.
The stunning garden/dining room is an addition that 'just seemed to expand the house beyond expectations' when it was built, it, like the breakfast room has underfloor heating.
The former dining room now makes a wonderful study and can be a multi-functional space depending upon your life. Upstairs a stunning en suite feels so special and must make starting and finishing each day so much more pleasurable.
All the bedrooms are great sizes, this is a proper family home. There is lots of parking including the double garage.
Set within a lovely close the house has front garden that adds to the feel of privacy, the broad rear garden provides views over the field behind and you can enjoy glorious sunsets from here.
The neighbours are great, you feel at ease knowing you and they are there without feeling intrusive.
Egerton is one of those villages that retains a little mystique. Known but not overplayed, large enough to be a great community without losing its heart. It is an active village and yet a quiet one, accessible yet found on purpose.
It has pre and primary schooling, a variety of active interest groups and it is somewhere you can be involved to a level that suits you.
The centre of the village is home to a Grade I Listed church, St James The Great, pretty rows of cottages and The George, 'a pub with a friendly welcome'.
Beautiful countryside is all around and it is easy to reach local train stations; Pluckley, Charing and Lenham spring to mind as options. It is also easy to get to important places like Canterbury, Ashford, Maidstone and onto the M20 from here. Headcorn, Staplehurst and beyond to Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells and to Sevenoaks are options that add a wealth of things for you to do; not to mention exploring rural walks along the greensand ridge. You can walk to Pluckley or just find routes that will loop around the local area.
There are so many reasons why life has been wonderful here for so long and now it's your chance to enjoy it.
