House For Sale £985,000
Southville Road, Southville BS3

Description
Southville Road was a house we used to pass that always managed to put a smile on our faces. As a lover of architecture, it struck me as an unusual gem, somewhat out of place in its surroundings. When the house came up for sale it was a no brainer that we wanted to see it all. The first visit around the house was a revelation, the internals thankfully, lived up to its interesting frontage and we knew we had to have it. The combination of such a quirky interesting family house so close to the centre of Bristol was enough to make the chance of owning it unmissable. The house is so close to the centre of town, yet when you are sitting in the tranquil oasis of the back garden under the magnolia on a summers evening listening to the birds, you could be a million miles from town. This gives you a glorious combination of characteristics that makes it hard to beat.

We always knew it was a long project to return it to its full glory, and our only regret is that we never managed to achieve the whole vision. What we did do though was to renovate the outside to ensure it would stay safe for another for future families to enjoy. When you buy a house like this you learn you are just a custodian for the length of your stay. We know the house will live on for many future families who will all become a little part of its long history.
