"This flat has been my lovely first home of my own. A perfect stepping stone from renting into home ownership - I bought an unappealing shell of a flat and turned it into my own haven, every detail designed with so much love and attention. I made sure it was easy to maintain and keep clean, and used pale colours and neutral decor to keep the cosy space looking open and clear. I made sure that although the flat itself is relatively small, the storage space and kitchen and bathroom areas were ample, providing everything they needed to. The in-built storage makes the most of the space in (I think!) clever ways. I invested in certain items that made living in the space feel very luxurious at times - underfloor heating, brand new windows, engineered parquet flooring, boiling water tap in the kitchen sink, walk in rainforest shower.
There are loads of things for families and individuals to do locally, and a fantastic sense of community exists - especially along Wood St. I am so delighted to be staying in the Wood St area of Walthamstow in my next home."
