House For Sale £1,500,000
St. Julians Farm Road, West Norwood, London SE27

Description
This five-bedroom house in West Norwood impresses with grand proportions and exquisite detailing, offering the perfect blend of warmth and elegance.

Brickworks Says

From the moment you cross the threshold into the majestic Edwardian entrance hall – a room in itself – it is apparent that nothing in this house is standard. Despite their size, the living rooms, with their blond wood floor and large windows that bathe the space in light, are warm and welcoming. Beautiful, tiled fireplaces add character to each room, including the bedrooms. Look more closely, and you'll see some delightful touches, such as ornate ceiling decoration and reclaimed door handles from an old Barclays Bank in nearby Streatham.

Your eye is drawn upstairs by beautiful mahogany bannisters, which were replicated when the owners extended up to create more living space. The bedroom in the loft room has high ceilings, and light pours in through the double windows. In the bathroom, you can indulge in the simple pleasure of lying back in the deep Albion bathtub and watching the stars in the window above. Downstairs, the free-flow living spaces look out into a secluded garden, ideal for sharing good times with friends and family or an oasis of calm when you need it.

St. Julian's Farm Road is situated in an ever-popular corner of West Norwood. Its growing reputation isn't surprising, given that it has outstanding schools, an array of proper pubs and decent places to get a caffeine fix. Being part of the thriving West Norwood community brings other advantages, too, namely being nestled between some other fantastic neighbourhoods, including Dulwich, Crystal Palace and Brixton.

The Owners Say

We fell in love with the house immediately we walked through the front garden into the house. The generous proportions, the easy flow of the spaces into each other, and above all the way the light plays throughout, especially on sunny afternoons and evenings. We're proud of the loft extension, it feels luxurious and spacious - and totally in keeping with the rest of the house. The double living room gives access to the garden (which has worked brilliantly for our family) – it's seen a lot of great parties over the years for both children and grown-ups!

Whilst living in West Norwood, we watched the place transform with the introduction of the monthly West Norwood Feast community market, the Picturehouse cinema and the new swimming pool and leisure centre. It is conveniently located for all you need, with Dulwich village, Brixton market and Streatham High Street all within close proximity and with some lovely green spaces such as Dulwich Park close by and Streatham Common within walking distance.
