Directions From St James Church in the centre of Louth travel south along Upgate. On foot walk along Kidgate which is the street on the left, a short way after the zebra crossing. This is however a one-way street in the opposite direction for vehicles, so by car, follow Upgate past Kidgate on the left and up to the traffic lights. Turn left here along Newmarket and then take the third exit down Cinder Lane. At the end of the lane turn left at the t-junction with Kidgate. Go past the crossroads, pass the coaching arch and Sharpley's Court is then on the right.

The Property The property is one of four mews cottages created by the transformation of a handsome period two-storey terrace, tucked away from the main roads through the town and with a parking space behind the building. The house has brick-faced principal walls with contrasting coloured brick string courses, handsome brick arches framing the windows and low-maintenance corbelled brickwork at the eaves, under a pitched slate roof. Heating is by a gas central heating system with combination boiler.
