"Our time at 25 Woodlands Park Road has been an incredibly happy time for us, for many reasons.

The location is, of course, a big one. We’re on a quiet, leafy road with lovely neighbours – and we have excellent sound proofing.

It’s a four minute walk to Greenwich Park – specifically the incredible children’s play area. It’s the same distance to Maze Hill Overground, which gets you to London Bridge in 15 minutes. Trafalgar Road has a great mix of artisan, cake and coffee shops, bric-à-brac and all kinds of international cuisine.

We are local to a lot of stunning pubs, an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ rated nursery for our son, multiple activities for young families, plus the Maritime Museum, Cutty Sark attraction and the amazing Greenwich Market on the other side of the park. The river is five minutes away on foot, and river boat access is only 15 minutes away.

Further out you have Westfield, Canary Wharf and the O2 Arena.

Our house has been a perfect contrast of cosy and spacious. It is a classic space, with a lot of great original aspects preserved – like the fireplaces and floorboards… but it also has two extensions which has improved its potential, and we were pleased to transform the attic room with beautiful new engineered oak flooring.

The house is warm throughout the winter periods, but it stays cool in the summer.

Downstairs, we have enjoyed having two reception rooms, giving us options to hang out separately or together. The big kitchen at the back is a real hub and we love the very high ceilings and big windows, bringing in loads of natural light.

We’ve enjoyed great barbecues in the garden, and it’s a safe space for our little ones. We will truly miss living here and would have stayed a long time, but unfortunately, we are having to move due to family commitments."
