This is a wonderful family home which we have loved for over 3 decades. It is a house we enjoy at any time of year - from cosy Christmases, when the house looks stunning festively decorated, to summer days spent beside the pool, every day feels like a holiday at this property!
The local village community is very friendly with plenty of activities in the village hall, while there is access to Westbere Lakes from the end of the lane for sailing, rowing and fishing. We can walk to the picturesque Yew Tree Inn which is the oldest pub in Kent, to enjoy a drink or a meal. It's a beautiful walk around the lake or short drive to nearby Fordwich which is famous for being the smallest town in England and has attractive and historic buildings with the river Stour running through the centre. Here there are two excellent pubs – the Michelin starred Fordwich Arms and the George and Dragon.
