On entering the property you get a warm and cosy feeling. The lounge is the first room you come to and has a gorgeous fireplace with inset electric pebble fire, being the main focal point of this charming space. The original features such as the fireside cupboard and picture rail, give this room lots of character. There is a glass door leading into the bright and fully fitted modern kitchen. The white units allow the light to bounce around this room making it a lovely space to cook in. There is a good sized cupboard under the stairs, a must for that ironing board and vacuum cleaner!

The well presented, partially tiled bathroom, sits off the hallway at the back of the house and has a bath with overhead rain shower.

Upstairs there are two large double bedrooms. The front bedroom has access to the fully boarded and insulated attic. This room has electricity to it and is great for storage but also has the potential to be converted into another room.

Outside there is a great sized yard, perfect for those warmer days.

The house also benefits from UPVC double glazing and gas central heating.

Gloucester Road is lined with Victorian terrace houses and is near to shops, schools and other local amenities. It is on a regular bus route and within walking distance of the City of Carlisle.

About me

i’m Hayley Gardiner and I was born in Kendal, Cumbria. I lived with my brother and parents near Rockcliffe and Wigton before moving to their hometown of Carlisle when I was 13.

I live with my partner Tony and together we have a wonderful blended family of 6 children, most of whom are adults. Our home can be a busy bustling place filled with laughter, or calm and peaceful.

I began my career working for NatWest Bank and quickly learnt the importance of trust, confidentiality and fantastic customer service. I have a wealth of knowledge of the local area and worked as an Estate Agent in my late twenties. Lately i’ve been working with auction companies and agents throughout the country, dealing with clients from all over the world looking for property or property advice in Cumbria, The North East and Southern Scotland.

Trust in your agent is imperative, and my aim is to make your property journey as stress free as possible as I guide you throughout. No more unanswered phones, viewings arranged to suit you and I will be there every step of the way from your decision to move to the keys being handed over.
