Waldorf House was built in 1863, the first masonic Lodge in Great Manchester to act as a base for the growing popularity of Freemasonry. It was designed by local Prestwich architect, William Mangnall. A closer look of the building facade shows the four statues of Fortitude, Prudence, Temperance and Justice along with a range of Masonic symbols. By 1929 the Freemasons had outgrown Waldorf House and moved to their newly constructed Temple on Bridge Street.

In 2020/2021 the building has undergone extensive restoration and where possible existing features have been retained.

Julie Twist Properties are open 7 days a week with a virtual office open 24 hours a day. Where possible we aim to accommodate viewings until 5pm during the week and weekends viewings including a Sunday till 4pm.

If you cannot make it into Manchester then why not book in a Whatsapp or Facetime viewing.
