1 Grampian Place is in a perfect location as it has great access to the Queensferry crossing into Edinburgh and also the M90 that goes north towards Perth and Dundee. Rosyth that began as housing for all the workers that worked on the Rosyth dockyard which is a dockyard that was part of the Royal Navy and had a significant impact for the Royal Navy during wwi and wwii until it was privatised in 1993 (now owned by Babcock). The dockyard recently built the hms Queen Elizabeth in 2014 alongside hms Illustrious. There are lots of other employers such as Sainsbury Bank, Orchard Head Nursing Home etc.

Local walking areas

50 yards up from the house is Castleland farm which is not being ? At the present time. Its owned by a cancer charity. The public have a “right to roam” over 150 acres of farm parkland and woodland.

50 yards to the south of the house is a wooded park area (south of the B981).

If you turn right at the foot of Grampian Rd, Ferrytoll Road takes you to a roundabout. Turn second and follow first left down to limekilns and follow the coastal path to Kincardine If you turn left at Grampian Road down the B981 you reach the

Fife Coastal Path and after about half a mile it takes you to North Queensferry then Aberdour, Kirkcaldy, Leven and Crail etc.

Directions

From Edinburgh:

Heading west out of Edinburgh along Queensferry Road/A90, continue on this for approximately 7 miles then merge onto the M90 towards the Queensferry Crossing. Cross the Queensferry Crossing, then take Junction 1B for North Queensferry/Port of Rosyth. Take the 1st exit at the roundabout onto the B981 then turn right at the second roundabout onto Ferry Toll Road. Take the second right into Grampian Road and Grampian Place is first on the left. No1 is the end terrace house nearest you just after the first block of garages.

From Kinross + M90 (S):

Proceed down the M90 (S) to 1B (North Queensferry) Port of Rosyth, just after the Rosyth turnoff go down the slip road to the lights at the park & ride. Go round the grade separated junction and take 2nd left towards Rosyth on the B981. Turn right at the second set of lights. Proceed along the B981 Ferrytoll Road. Turn second right onto Grampian Road and continue as above.

Amenities

The local Primary School is Kings Road in Rosyth, with the Secondary School being either Dunfermline High School or Inverkeithing High School. Rosyth Train Station is 1.5 miles away and has regular trains to Edinburgh. Grampian Place has fantastic access to Ferrytoll Road which goes direct to Ferrytoll Park & Ride which has buses that go all over the country. Ferrytoll Road also leads to the M90 (Inverkeithing) which takes you to the Queensferry Crossing. North Queensferry is 2 miles away with bars, the Wee Restaurant and Deep Sea World.
