With a spacious kitchen/diner, dedicated work space and free street parking, what more could you need for your stay in this wonderful City. Stroll along the beautiful River Ouse to reach the City Centre in less than 15 minutes and experience all the culture and history that York has to offer.
The space
My 2 bedroom terraced house is located in the popular neighbourhood of Fulford, less than a mile from York city centre, and within easy walking distance to local amenities. It can sleeps up to 3 guests and is perfect for a family or friends meeting up.
There will be some complimentary tea/coffee waiting for you which I am sure will be useful for those arriving after a long journey!
Fresh white bedding and towels are provided (hand towel and bath towel per person), as well as miniature travel sized bottles of shampoo, shower gel and soap. Other items included are a washing-up pack, toilet roll and kitchen roll, which will last a couple of days. If wish to purchase more for your stay there is a Sainsbury's Local a few minutes walk away.

Take a walk along the River Ouse (go down the stairs at my end of the street). Turn right to walk towards the city or turn left to walk towards the Millennium Bridge. Rowntree Park is directly on the opposite side of the river (head over the Millennium Bridge to the park) In the park are children's playgrounds, a library-cafe, skatepark, tennis courts, basketball court, and ponds. Also next to Rowntree Park is Bishopthorpe Road which I recommend for a taste of local community feel, independent shops, cafe and restaurants!
Hallo Mallow is a friendly cafe in the neighbourhood selling deli treats, cakes, hot and iced coffees and sandwiches. It's a 4 minute walk away, 0.2 miles.
Sainsbury's Local is on Fulford Road (closest main road). T's a 5 minute walk away, 0.2 miles. Aldi and Iceland are larger supermarkets within easy walking distance, also off Fulford Road. It's a 9 minute walk away, 0.4 miles.
The Fulford Arms is a local pub which play live music (Fulford Road)
The Lighthorseman is a well-placed pub, along Fulford Road, and can be passed on the way into the city centre.
Also Fishergate, on your way into the city centre is Mirchiz (a local Indian restaurant) and Alligator Wholefoods health store.
It's relatively easy to find a parking space on the street. The neighbouring streets also offer free parking.
