Comment From Robert Reed Of Gascoigne Halman

If you lead a busy life and want a home that has an impeccable interior and a fully landscaped garden, I commend this unique bungalow to you.

This really interesting and unique property has been transformed since its purchase eight years ago by the present owners and is a much treasured family home. It has been both thoughtfully and comprehensively renovated, providing a beautifully presented family home that is larger than one would anticipate from the external appearance. It also has a truly amazing multi level garden which is ideal for those with a passion for the outdoors, the overall plot extending to 0.13 acre.

It is also worth noting that there has been only one sale in Castle Close in the last ten years ¿ there really is no greater tribute to what a desirable place this is to live - it is quiet, relatively secluded and within walking distance of shops, great pubs and beautiful open countryside.

Inside this is a really flexible home with some unusual features of merit. The standout features for me are the open plan living dining and breakfast room that adjoins the kitchen and the really luxurious principal bedroom suite that has a dressing room and en suite.

Outside is the big surprise - an amazing plot with lovely aspects. The garden is multi layered on different levels and in the spring and summer is an abundance of colour and a delightful private space with lovely aspects. It is a really well thought through space with a large terrace ideal for al fresco dining, borders, beds, paths, steps and areas of lawn ¿ a really unique and peaceful setting.
