High Street, Tarvin, Chester CH3

Description
This stunning period property has been sympathetically modernised to the highest standard and now provides a spacious village centre family home with self-contained annexe and landscaped gardens

Comment From Oliver Weston Of Gascoigne Halman

Positioned in the heart of Cheshire's popular Tarvin village positioned just ten minutes drive from the historic Roman city of Chester, Rock Villa is a charming period property and provides a brilliant opportunity for anyone looking for an easy move into a high specification home that's full of character.

The house itself dates back to the 1800s and has benefitted from many improvements and extensions, most notably by the current owners who since taking ownership in 2012 have invested their passion for property into this family home. Following a sizeable extension in 2013 they have created a comfortable four bedroom house with excellent ground floor living space.

In addition to improving the footprint and fully redecorating the property the owners have fitted new flooring, windows, kitchen and bathrooms, on top of efforts to also modernise the services of the house by having the electrics fully checked with a new consumer unit installed and as recently as 2021 fitting a new boiler.

For a detailed internal layout please find the attached floorplan but in brief the property consist of an entrance hall, central to the property and connecting through to the rest of the home. To the front of the ground floor are the two reception rooms, a main living room with feature log burner fireplace and a second sitting room currently utilised as a cosy snug room but enjoying fitted storage units allowing it easily become a home office or study space should one be required.
