Comment From Robert Reed Of Gascoigne Halman

Old Lane Cottage, a lovely semi detached house, dates from the circa 1750 and is located in a much sought after part of rural Cheshire. The area is renowned for combining rural beauty with accesibility to many excellent amenties. The house is surrounded by open countryside in a lovely rural location with uninterruppted views over woodland and fields.

Originally a traditional two bedroom farm cottage belonging to the Ashton Hayes Estate, this family home has been extended through the years and has previously been granted planning permission for an extension to the lounge, details of which can be found on the cwac planning portal with the reference 02/01589/ful.

Externally the home enjoys a private south facing garden, comprising of upper and lower patios, water feature, raised vegetable bed, bramley apple tree, two damson trees, one mountain ash and one mature oak, in total extending to around 4002 metres.
