'Millbrae' is conveniently situated a stone's throw from the local primary school, swimming pool and health centre on the northern periphery of the village of Scalloway, about five miles from Lerwick, the positioning of the property allowing it to enjoys fantastic, unobstructed views eastwards over to the head of East Voe, and south down East Voe to Clift Sound and Fitful Head in the distance.

Further amenities in the village including local shopping on Main Street, just a short stroll away, which includes a couple of general stores, a chemist / post office, café and bar, plus a garage. The village also has its own museum and historic castle. On the other side of East Voe is vet’s surgery and marina.

The property was extensively refurbished by the current owners after they purchased the house in 2009, the work including gutting the interior and re-lining and insulating, new hardwood double glazed windows and doors, re-plumbing, and finally a new bathroom and separate shower room.
