The Vendor's View

We were first drawn to the location of this wonderful property, being within walking distance of both the town and the train station, as we were commuting at the time. It was nice and quiet here, with sea views, and it ticked all of our boxes really.
The house is very light and airy with a nice layout. Almost all the rooms face towards the sea and the garden. Our favourite room is probably the very large master bedroom with its French doors that lead out onto a balcony. It’s a wonderful place to admire the beautiful sea views.
The location is really fantastic, situated on a bus route and yet only 10 minutes walk from the town centre. The quiet sandy beach at Stone Bay is just at the end of the road, about 5 minutes away, and only 15-20 minutes from the train station. There are lovely restaurants locally and plenty of shopping and leisure activities nearby, including Westwood Cross.
We love being able to walk down to the town and join in with events such as the fireworks, Dickens Festival or Folk Week, while at the same time being far enough out to retain the peace and quiet. Day-today we enjoy taking the dogs for a walk down on the beach or along the coastline.
Now that we’re retired, we’re looking to live a little further out of the town. We have loved living here.
