A distinctive house of significant character dating back to the late 1800s and steeped in history. Although intended as a water tower it was never used for this but rather to store fruit from the surrounding orchard. In the early 1930s, when space was needed for a farm worker and his family, the tower was converted into living accommodation and then later enlarged and fully converted. The location is ideal, positioned at the end of a quiet no through road and within walking distance to the village centre. Amenities include a well-regarded primary school, church, public house and post office/store.
