Louise Road, London E15

Description
This totally refurbished two bedroom house in the heart of Stratford Village is close to Maryland station (and super-fast journeys on the new Elizabeth Line) as well as the many shops and amenities of central Stratford and the Olympic Park.

If you lived here

You’d enjoy living in this charming home, with its thoroughly modern interior and period Victorian exterior. The original layout has been altered to optimise room sizes, creating an open-plan kitchen/dining room and adding a handy utility room.

The entrance hall has a door to the traditional front living room and an open doorway to the kitchen/diner. The living room is a serene space with calming green walls, wood laminate flooring and a large bay window with plantation shutters. The kitchen/diner is a light-filled room with garden views and a wall of fitted handleless cabinets and neat integrated appliances. The central space can accommodate a large dining table, making this truly the heart of the home. Beyond there’s a small utility room (with a door to the garden) and the bathroom.

Upstairs, there are two double bedrooms. The main bedroom at the front has two sunny south-facing windows, and the second bedroom to the rear has garden views. The property is double-glazed and has loft storage space. There is potential to extend to the rear or into the loft, subject to planning permission.

The fully paved approx.40 foot long garden is supremely low-maintenance and has the feel of an outdoor living space. With smart horizontally slatted fencing and white painted walls at either end, it has a cool urban ambience, perfect for al fresco dining or parties.

A word from the owners...

"From the moment we walked through the door, we fell in love with this house; the Victorian features, the big sunny garden for hosting BBQs, the kitchen/diner for cozy dinners and the space to live and work at home. It's been a perfect first home and we have so many happy memories that we've shared with friends and family here.
In the last 4 years, we've seen the area grow and lots of new bars, restaurants and shops pop up. Our local favourites include; Kotch for the best Italian stone baked Pizza & Negronis, Singburi for homecooked Thai food, Allegra for a fine dining treat, Forest Gate Tavern for a Sunday Roast, Signorelli for coffee and Wild Goose Bakery for warm sourdough on a Saturday morning. We're also located within easy reach of East Village and Hackney Wick, which we love to spend time in. We've enjoyed many Sunday's walking down the canal and exploring all the pop-ups around Here East.
Louise Road is quiet with a real community feel. It has its own Whatsapp group full of likeminded people who go for drinks at the Cart & Horses & the The Holly Tree pub and help each other out if they're in need of a dog sitter or taking in a package when someone is out. It's a warm and welcoming neighbourhood with lots of opportunity for growth with the new Elizabeth Line 5 mins walk away, taking you into central London in under 20 mins.
We'll be sad to leave this home but we know someone else we enjoy it, just as much as we have."
