A word from the owners....

"We have loved living here over the past 4 years. Forest Gate feels like a little haven in London - in a few minutes we can be on the Elizabeth line whizzing into central London, or in the middle of the expansive Wanstead Flats, cycling between pubs and coffee shops.

We've been very happy in our home, especially since doing some work to open up and modernise our downstairs space. The space is a lot bigger as a result, and is filled with light throughout the day. We love cooking for our friends and family, and having an open plan living space has been perfect for entertaining - especially in the summer, when we have one expansive space that stretches into the garden.

You can really feel that space upstairs too - our bedroom is bright and cosy, and the second bedroom is big enough to be an office, gym, and a welcoming space for anyone that comes to stay the night.

The Forest Gate community is really friendly, and you get to meet so many great neighbours in local spots such as The Wild Goose Bakery, Ramble Cafe, Pretty Decent Beer Company, The Wanstead Tap... The list goes on!

We're also so lucky to be in such a well connected area. As well as it being a quick train ride into town, we're an easy walk or cycle to Westfield Stratford for more shops and restaurants. The Olympic Park is great for a cycle or run, and leads to Hackney or Walthamstow through the marshes. One of us is Sri Lankan, and being so close to East Ham's Tamil grocery shops and restaurants has also been a delicious treat!

We have been very happy in this home. We've got engaged and married here, and will always be a bit in love with Forest Gate. We're really excited for whoever gets to live here next, as it's a great house, a wonderful area, and we know how happy you can be living here."
