My husband found the property initially and took me to view it. They say you know you want to buy a house within the first 10 seconds and that definitely was the case for me with this house. As soon as I walked in to the porch and the door opened in to the hallway I said to him I want this house. We knew when walking round it needed some updating but it didn't put me off, I remember standing in the dining room and I didn't want to leave. Thankfully we managed to buy it.

We also asked them what they love about the house now?

It is so spacious and bright . We have a south-west facing garden so the house captures the sun in the morning at the front and then we have it throughout the day and evening in the back garden, it is fantastic. I have grape vines in the back and they are very fruitful. I really love the hallway and the lounge which is so spacious, but my favourite room has to be the conservatory, which was re fitted a couple of years ago, I love spending time in there not just in the summer but all year round. Its so quiet, we are slightly set back compared to the other houses which I really like and the neighbours are fantastic.

And what about the location?

Quiet, peaceful yet so convenient. Local shops are only 5 minutes away, there is a nice pub a few minutes away, The Pear and Partridge, and I regularly go to the gym at the local Golf club which is just a 5 minute drive. There is also a fantastic local farm shop selling locally sourced produce, The Perton Farm Shop known locally as Bradshaws. On top of all this, Wolverhampton City Centre is just 15 minutes away and neighbouring Telford, Bridgnorth and Ironbridge are also lovely towns to visit at weekends. Church Stretton, although further away, was always lovely to drive out to at the weekends. There are also great schools which the children went to, It really was the perfect place and home for the family and we will miss it.
