House For Sale £275,000
Bedminster Down Road, Bedminster, Bristol BS13

Description
“i’m really going to miss waking up to such a beautiful view each morning. Waving at hot air balloon enthusiasts as they fly over the house has always made me smile. On a sunny afternoon, i’ve loved swinging in my hammock on the balcony and watching the birds come and go. I’ve been lucky enough to have fledglings in the birdhouse for the last 3 years now!
The open plan living area has been ideal for hosting my friends and family for dinner, drinks or games nights. I have thoroughly enjoyed making home improvements, from simple decorating to boarding the loft. Having the bus stop right outside and Parson Street station only a few minutes walk down the road, has been really helpful for getting to work or social events in the centre.
There is always plenty going on in Bedminster. One of my highlights includes sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine, whilst listening to Elton John and numerous other artists play at Ashton Gate Stadium. I have loved going to Zion for brunch and spend a lot of time on North Street at the cafes and little independent shops. There are two large open fields with a horse stables just up the road that are very peaceful for that much needed time out. Manor Woods Valley and Ashton Park have also been great outdoor spaces for running or a lazy weekend walk.”

Bedminster Down Road touches the edge of Bedminster and runs through to the city centre. The property is within easy reach of the hugely desirable North Street, a well-known and vibrant road running through Southville and Bedminster. This area is popular with a range of residents for its independent shops and amenities and abundance of recognisable culture, typified by annual events such as ‘Upfest’ and the nearby Harbourside Festival and Bristol International Balloon Fiesta. Much of this area’s attraction stems from its proximity to Bristol City Centre. The accessibility of the city centre makes this area in high demand with young professionals, commuters and those who look to enjoy the high-quality shops, bars and restaurants of North Street, Bristol City Centre and Harbourside, including the newly developed Wapping Wharf. For those who require frequent access out of the city, the property is also close to both Bedminster and Parson Street station, a short walk to the Bristol Airport bus stop, as well as offering several routes by road to outstanding countryside and more rural attractions nearby.

The house is in a row of four terraces in this popular and central location a short walk to North Street. As you enter the house, there is an open plan kitchen leading to the dining/living room which then has french doors onto the balcony. The balcony has a wonderful view over the allotments and beyond to Ashton Court and the Clifton Suspension Bridge. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms and a bathroom. The loft is boarded out and has plenty of storage
