Heathfield has a very good range of local shops and there is a strong community with local clubs for all age groups and three very good local primary schools and Heathfield Community College for older children. There is a bus service at the top of the lane to the school and also to Tunbridge Wells and Eastbourne. There are several main line stations, the most popular used is Stonegate, about a 15 minute drive, with services to London Bridge, Waterloo and Charing Cross.
Directions: Proceed south on the Hailsham Road out of Heathfield. On reaching a small parade of shops, turn down by the side of the bicycle shop into Harley Lane. Continue to the bottom and turn right, (it feels wrong but it is right), go all the way to the end and turn right into the cul de sac where the house will be found on the left.
