I absolutely love the fact that you can go 10 minutes one way and be in the city but the same time in the other direction you are in the middle of the countryside. It just worked for us! There are so many great places to get out with the dogs and children at the weekend. Within a couple of minutes walk you can be at the national trusts Wightwick Manor and Gardens with its 17 acres of Woodlands. There are also some fantastic pubs close by, ideal to visit after a long walk and unwind with a drink and some food, We love the Mermaid and The Fieldhouse both have a great selection of drinks and do lovely food. Miller and Carter in Penn is also a personal favourite."
What about the house itself?
"It was really pretty when we first came and we fell in love with it straight away. The large corner plot really appealed, with the property set back and we loved the driveway and private frontage. We could see the potential and over the last 20 years we have done lots to it. We did the upstairs first and added two bedrooms and a shower room. We then built in to the original garage creating another 2 bedrooms with en-suites. Its been the perfect family home for us and we will be staying in the area."
