1 bed Flat For Sale £485,000
Gloucester Street, London, SW1V

Description
A bright and well laid out one bedroom flat on the top floor of this period stucco fronted building in the 'Pimlico Grid'.

This well presented flat boasts a sunny reception room with space for entertaining, leisure and dining, separate contemporary kitchen, bathroom and very appealing, quiet, double bedroom at the back of the flat with built in storage,

The property is located in the northern section of Gloucester Street and as such is close to local shops, popular restaurants and the Tachbrook Street market. Transport links are provided both Pimlico underground and Victoria underground and mainline stations.

The terrace houses on Gloucester Street were built from c.1848 onwards and designed by Thomas Cubitt who was the prolific Victorian master builder responsible for creating Pimlico, most of Belgravia and the east front of Buckingham Palace. As with much of Cubitt's work, the original Gloucester Street houses are built in the classical style out of brick overlaid with the stucco rendering that is so recognisable. Running from Belgrave Road to Lupus Street, Gloucester Street is one of Thomas Cubitt's most important connecting ‘grid' streets from east to west and was once considered to be one of the best streets in Cubitt's ‘Stuccoville Grid' and can largely still lay claim to this comment.
