It is worth noting that the loke is about to be resurfaced, levelled and shingled to make a smarter approach to the cottages.

Shingle Cottage is perfectly situated just off Westgate Street in the heart of Blakeney.  Literally a few steps from the village shop, the fishmonger and a great coffee shop.  The quay is just a minutes walk away passed the Kings Arms pub and the free parking at the Village Hall a minute or so in the other direction.

Blakeney is one of the prettiest and most sought after villages on the North Norfolk coast.

Blakeney, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is an ideal base to explore the north Norfolk Coast. At the heart is Blakeney National Nature Reserve with wide open spaces and uninterrupted views of the coastline, ideal for walking and spotting local wildlife including seals and migratory birds. The village has pretty flint cottages, once home to local fisherman, and there are plenty of places to eat and stay as well as pubs, gift shops and art galleries to visit.

Blakeney is just a few miles from the Georgian market town of Holt. Home to many more shops and amenities and the famous independent school, Greshams.
